This two-day workshop integrates classroom and on-site experiences at a host facility to build upon the knowledge and experience gained at the DISCOVER EXCELLENCE workshop. It takes you deeper into the Shingo Model™ by focusing on the principles identified in the Cultural Enablers dimension:

Cultural Enablers principles make it possible for people in an organization to engage in the transformation journey, progress in their understanding and ultimately build a culture of enterprise excellence. Enterprise excellence cannot be achieved through top-down directives or piecemeal implementation of tools. It requires a widespread organizational commitment. The CULTURAL ENABLERS workshop will help you define ideal behaviours and the systems that drive them using behavioural benchmarks.
Cultural Enablers is at the foundation of the Shingo Model and therefore to the success of Operational Excellence. This dimension makes it possible for people within the organisation to engage in the transformation journey and creates widespread commitment throughout the entire organisation.
A fundamental change to traditional management and leadership practices is required if we are to create highly engaging and inspiring organisational cultures.
The workshop is aimed at leadership teams, senior executives and managers responsible for building a culture of operational excellence.
Attending the introductory Shingo Discover workshop is recommended to gain an understanding of the Shingo Model and the relationship between Principle driven behaviours, systems and tools.
To better understand what Cultural Enablers looks like along with the underlying principles.
If leaders want a better culture and better results, it is necessary to understand the importance of respect and humility. Learn how these qualities are essential where we have to collaborate with others to achieve anything.
To enable this we must challenge existing thinking and the out-dated management practices from the past century that were based on a mechanistic paradigm and a hierarchical command and control mindset.
Organisations are built with people, therefore, it is necessary we understand and enhance the contribution of every individual in the organization.
Gain a deeper understanding of why success can only be achieved when every person at every level of the organisation is able to continuously innovate and improve and how empowering and involving everyone helps achieve true greatness.

The workshop will provide a deep reflection on the Principles:

We will explore why it is essential that we respect every individual and what kind of behaviours we have to show so that people feel respected.
Why as leaders and managers our efforts are very important so that there is no trust deficit between people. And why now more than ever, humility is an important quality for leaders to have.
Which key cultural enablers systems are responsible for creating the conditions that cause people to behave in a certain way and how we can move towards ideal behaviours.
Experience practical go, look, sees to understand the application of the Cultural Enablers dimension and the associated guiding principles.
