Terms and Conditions



1.1 In these Conditions:

“Booking Form” means the booking request form completed by you or on your behalf in relation to your attendance at an Event;

“Event” means the event specified on the Booking Form;

“Fees” means the fees for the Event shown in the Booking Form;

“Event Material” means any documents or other materials, and any other information provided by TMIPS at or in relation to the Event;

“TMIPS” means TMI Practitioner Services Limited (registered in England under number 5774920);

“Writing” includes facsimile transmission and electronic mail.

1.2 The headings in these Conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation.

2. Formation of contract

2.1 By completing and submitting a Booking Form you agree to be bound by these Conditions. No contract between TMIPS and you in respect of the Event will come into existence unless and until TMIPS accepts your booking by issuing confirmation of acceptance to you in writing.

2.2 Places on the Event are subject to availability and bookings are accepted at the discretion of TMIPS.
3. Fees
3.1 Fees are payable at the time of booking.
4. Customer Substitutions and Cancellations
4.1 Should you be able to attend the Event, a substitute is always welcome at no extra charge but acceptance of the substitute is at the discretion of TMIPS. No refund will be given to the original person named on the Booking Form in the event of a substitution.
4.2 Should you wish to cancel the booking you must notify TMIPS in writing.
4.3 Cancellations and substitutions are valid only when TMIPS confirms receipt of the change in writing.
4.4 In the event of cancellation, a full refund will only be payable if notice of cancellation is received by TMIPS at least 21 days before the date of the Event.
4.5 If notice of cancellation is received by TMIPS less than 21 days prior to the date of the Event, the following cancellation Fees shall apply and you will be refunded the difference between the cancellation Fees and the Fees paid at the time of booking –
4.6 Date of receipt of cancellation notice by TMIPS Cancellation Charge
14-20 days prior to the Event 50% of the Fees
7-13 days prior to the Event 75% of the Fees
less than 7 days prior to the Event 100% of the Fees
5. Event Substitutions and Cancellations
5.1 TMIPS reserves the right to change the programme, speakers, venue or date for the Event and to cancel the event without liability.
6. Event Material
6.1 The property and any copyright or other intellectual property rights in any Event Material shall belong to TMIPS subject only to the right of the Customer to use the Event Material at the Event.
6.2 TMIPS gives no gives no warranty that the use made by the customer of any Event Material or other information provided at the Event will achieve the customer’s desired result in its own business and TMIPS accepts no liability for any loss howsoever occasioned to any person arising from reliance on such materials.
7. General
7.1 If any provision of these Conditions is held by any court or other competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these Conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected and shall remain in full force and effect.
7.2 English law shall apply to the Conditions, and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
7.3 A person who is not a party to these Conditions shall have no right under the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any terms of these Conditions but this shall not effect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.
