Principles of Lean Manufacturing

The objective is to provide delegates with a clear understanding of the principles and processes of lean manufacturing. The day will use plain language to explain the answers to questions such as:

• What is lean manufacturing and how do you recognise waste?
• What are the first steps to implementing lean improvements?
• How do you gain buy in so people become enthusiastic and genuinely involved in the lean process?

People who should attend:

• Manufacturing, Operations, Production and Supply Chain positions with responsibility for leading, managing and implementing lean manufacturing and improvement work.
• Other business functions and senior employees across the organisation who need to gain a fast track understanding of lean philosophies and techniques.
